20L PET Keg

The 20L PET keg without bag is a single-use explosion-proof keg designed to match the structure, filling process, and usage method of conventional steel kegs, allowing seamless integration with existing brewery filling lines and dispense infrastructure. CO2 enters the keg through the keg coupler, beer enters from the bottom of the spear tube under pressure, and dispense is completed through the keg coupler — identical in operation to a standard returnable steel keg.

The keg body is manufactured from a high-barrier, explosion-proof PET material with enhanced pressure resistance. The brown PET construction filters UV rays to protect beer quality and flavour during storage and transit, and the high-barrier material effectively prevents gas exchange and CO2 escape, supporting consistent carbonation and shelf life.

The 20L format suits on-trade accounts with moderate weekly volumes, event and festival applications, and hospitality venues where a smaller footprint and lighter empty weight are advantageous over a 30L vessel. As a single-use keg there is no return, cleaning, or re-certification requirement, and the interior requires no cleaning prior to filling, enabling fast turnaround.
